ZWAR - Workout Tracker ("the App") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data the App collects, how it is stored, and your rights regarding that data.
1. Data We Collect
The App collects the following data:
- Email address — Used for account authentication when you sign up or log in. This data is linked to your identity.
- Workout logs — Exercises, sets, reps, weights, and workout duration. This fitness data is linked to your identity when cloud sync is enabled.
- Body measurements — Body weight and optional skinfold measurements that you choose to record.
- Mood ratings — Optional post-workout mood ratings (1-5 scale) that you choose to record.
- Custom programs — Workout programs you create within the App.
- Location (when in use) — Used only for gym check-ins and showing nearby gyms. Your location is never tracked in the background or stored permanently.
- Coaching data — If you use the coaching platform, data you choose to share with your coach (workout logs, body weight, body fat, mood) based on your consent settings.
2. How Data Is Stored
- On-device storage: All workout data is stored locally on your device using UserDefaults. The App works fully offline.
- Cloud sync (optional): If you create an account, your data is synced to Supabase (a cloud database service) to enable cross-device access and backup. Cloud sync is optional; you can use the App in guest mode without any cloud storage.

The App does not use any analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs.
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell, trade, or share your personal data with third parties. Your data is only transmitted to the third-party services listed above for the sole purpose of authentication and cloud storage.
5. Data Retention and Deletion
- You can delete all your local data at any time using the "Reset All Data" option in the App's Settings.
- You can permanently delete your account and all associated cloud data using the "Delete Account" option in the App's Settings. This action is irreversible and removes all data from our servers.

6. Children's Privacy
The App does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The App is rated 4+ and does not contain objectionable content.
7. Security
All network communication uses HTTPS encryption. The App does not use non-exempt encryption. Authentication tokens are stored securely on your device using the system keychain.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected by updating the "Effective Date" at the top of this page.
